Sunday's Good Deed

Yesterday I went to the Chinese New Year celebration hosted by Tzu Chi Foundation Austin Chapter. As you might know, Tzu Chi is one of the largest charity organizations established in Asia and has charity operations around the world. My friend asked me to 'adopt' a thing called 'bamboo bank.' It's like an oriental style piggie bank. It is not made of bamboo but it shapes like it. On the side of the bamboo bank, it says "Good deeds everyday. Happiness and wisdom on your way." By putting any change that you get from grocery or food, you can build a sum of money for the underprivileged. Isn't it in line with the spirit of this blog?
