Friday's Good Deed

Don't be deterred by the non-English banner (I believe it's Italian). It's a English-based website and it seeks to "promote the use of ICTs [Information and Communication Technologies] in education and training of youth," or in other words to bridge the digital/informational gap between the haves and have-nots. Click on the banner above and see yourself.

Monday's Good Deed
EcologyFund.com is a click-to-donate site that primarily focuses on environmental issues. So far they claim to have saved 2,313,802,745 sq. ft. (or 83 sq. miles) of land! There is a lot of land considering the source of funding they are relying on (i.e., advertising sponsors).
Saturday's Good Deed
FreeRice.com is an innovative site that combines fun and charity. Ten grains of rice (down from 20 recently) will be donated anytime when you get the right answer in the vocabulary game. You can help those in hunger and improve your vocabulary at the same time. How cool is that! Click on the banner above and start playing! Watch the video below to understand how FreeRice works!
Friday's Good Deed
